Evaluates and approves new Sales Finance credit applications and credit line increase requests up to $15,000.  Maintains and services merchant accounts.  Assists the Dealer Service Center Credit Managers with training issues.  Answers, resolves and/or refers merchant, customer and branch telephone calls, using multiple credit-related systems simultaneously to procure the information requested.  Provides merchant authorization codes and submits line increase requests above their authorization limits using these systems.  Handling a heavy volume of inbound phone calls.  Assists in the accurate and prompt alphanumeric data entry of faxed and phoned-in sales finance credit applications.

High School diploma or equivalent.  Some college level management courses desired 2-5 years of lending and retail credit operations experience Ability to review multiple systems records for accuracy and determine proper resolution when necessary Able to analyze and review credit applications for logical exceptions to normal policy Identifies areas where additional training would enhance performance of credit department employees Communicates effectively with customers and merchants to resolve problems and accurately convey credit decisions and stipulations Effectively communicates with all levels of employees and management Works cooperatively as a member of the team Leads by example and have the ability to promote teamwork among the departmental staff Positively motivates employees to reach their potentials Possesses flexibility of working schedule to include evening, weekend and holiday hours 40 WPM typing and 10 key skills of 6,000+ keystrokes per minute
