US CONTROLLER

 

Percussion Software, a well-established, profitable, growing application software company with world headquarters in Woburn, is looking to hire a “hands-on” Controller, responsible for the day to day financial management of the U.S. Company.

 

Reporting to the Vice President of Finance, the US Controller is responsible for verifying the accuracy of the postings to the general ledger, preparing financial statements in accordance with GAAP, reporting financial results, reviewing and approving work prepared by the Accounting Manager, and ensuring Company-wide adherence to accounting policies and procedures.  Additionally, the US Controller coordinates the annual financial statement audit and assists with the preparation of tax returns.  The US Controller works closely with the Finance Director in the United Kingdom to prepare weekly financial results of the consolidated company.

 

 

Candidates for this position should possess a B.S. degree from a four-year college or university preferably with a concentration in accounting and 5+ years related experience in an accounting position with managerial responsibilities.  Prior experience in the software industry is preferred.
