Sr. Financial Analyst / F&CN1041

Position Description: Responsible for managing the Linear Products business unit R&D and marketing group forecast. Duties include:
-Supporting monthly financial forecasts through interaction with functional managers and analyzing and reporting on actual performance.
-Analyzing spending variances (budget vs actuals vs forecast).
-Assist in the preparation of financial analysis to support decisions in new product development.
-Assist with monthly accounting close and production orders.
-Develop and implement business processes where necessary.
-Forecast variable cost.
-Interface with Managers, Directors, and/or Controller when presenting analysis.
-Analyzing large amounts of data and then summarizing into conclusions/recommendations.
-Ability to develop complex cost models.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in a Business major, preferably accounting and a minimum of 5 years related experience, specifically in manufacturing or high technology industry. Must have knowledge of accounting and financial principles, an understanding of basic manufacturing processes and an understanding of automated MRP/ERP systems. Must be able to manage multiple projects and related deadlines as well as be detail oriented. Candidate should feel comfortable working under limited supervision. Strong systems skills in Hyperion Planning and MS Office (Excel and PowerPoint) required. Knowledge of SAP preferred.
