Sr. Financial Analyst

Position Description:

·Prepare quarterly and annual documents filed with the SEC including the 10K, 10Q, 8K, and Investor Relations Financial Supplement.
·Research accounting utilizing various research tools and competitors filed financial statements, to ensure adherence to GAAP and accurate and complete disclosure.
·Work with Budget Planning & Analysis team to review and support quarterly press releases and review senior management scripts for earnings call.
·Coordinate with Investor Relations, senior management and the business segments as to the level of disclosure and format desired for various filings.
·Work with both internal and external auditors to provide requested data and support for filings.
·Provide the highest level of internal and external customer service.
·Review investor presentations and other external documents.
·Participate in special projects such as Unified Oracle Chart Of Accounts, and other ad hoc projects

BASIC CANDIDATE QUALIFICATIONS:
·BS in accounting
·2-3 years SEC reporting or comparable experience
- Experience with disclosure rules on the SEC and accounting standards established by the FASB, EITF and others.

PREFERRED CANDIDATE QUALIFICATIONS:
·3-5 years SEC reporting or comparable experience
·Ability to work effectively in a culturally diverse work group
·Strong oral and written communication skills - including ability to draft footnotes and MDA wording
·Attention to detail
- Insurance or financial services and public accounting experience a plus
·CPA and/or MBA a plus
