Job description

On behalf of our client ideally located in northern Alabama we are searching for an experienced and customer oriented Plant Controller to join this successful, fast paced environment.  If you are currently a Controller from a manufacturing environment with a strong lean background and have a Bachelors degree in either accounting or finance, apply today!  Join a world-class company in a position with unlimited growth potential.  The successful applicant will report directly to the General Manager and will have 3 direct reports.  The applicant will work daily on all financial aspects of the plant in this fast paced environment.  In addition, applicant will conduct root cause analysis & corrective actions on plant performance.

 

Requirements

To be considered for this outstanding opportunity, you must have the following:

 

·  A Bachelors Degree in an Accounting or Finance related field is a MUST! 

·  A MBA, while not required, is preferred +

·  6 + years of experience in a manufacturing environment with management experience is required

·  A CMA, CPA and/or CMP is a huge plus ++

·  Experience with monthly forecasts, quarterly budgets, and financial planning is required

·  Experience in lean manufacturing, 5-S, continuous improvement, Six Sigma and other lean methodologies is required
