Manager of Finance-Marketing

PetSmart corporate headquarters (Store Support Group) in Phoenix, Arizona currently has an opening for a Manager of Finance - Marketing.  This position is responsible for providing financial advisory services (Budgeting, Forecasting, Trend Analysis, and other ad-hoc Financial/Productivity analysis) to the business leaders for the Marketing segment of PetSmart.

 

The successful candidate will have the ability to partner with the business leaders in Marketing.  You will provide leadership on recurring and non-recurring financial projects based upon directions from various levels of management.  This will require prior experience in improving the annual planning and budgeting process, monthly forecasting and monthly variance analysis capability of the finance team.  In addition, you will need to be able to utilize operational and financial information to analyze and identify risks and opportunities for the business leaders to assist them in improving their forward looking decision making capability in order to enhance overall operating results.  It will require the ability to work closely with functional and financial management to communicate and recommend solutions to improve current operating performance.  You will also need to be able to provide coaching and mentoring for a team of up to two Financial Analysts.

 

A Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university in Business, Finance or Accounting and six plus years work experience related to Financial Analysis, or equivalent combination of education and experience.  CPA or MBA preferred.
