Investment Analyst

Signature Financial Management is seeking a highly motivated, highly skilled, capable degreed business undergraduate to join its Virginia based investment and client management team.  (some experience preferred) Signature Financial Management is a Norfolk; Virginia based wealth management firm organized as a multi-family office. 

 

The investment strategy is structured to provide a return profile similar to that of the largest and most successful university endowments. The Investment Analyst position will be a direct support, analytical and administrative position focused on our investment product and its administration for our clients.  The investment analyst will report directly to the Sr. Investment Analyst.  As the analyst’s skills grow, so will the responsibilities and expectations of the position. 

 

The Investment Analyst must have a background and passion for investments.  The Investment Analyst Candidate must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.  The Investment Analyst must have strong computer skills inclusive of extensive knowledge of all Microsoft Office applications (emphasis on Excel).  The Investment Analyst must work well in teams and must take direction and show initiative in all situations. The candidate should also have an understanding of portfolio theory and statistics.

·  Fund Due Diligence Review

 

·  Topic Research Projects

 

·  Portfolio Risk

 

·  Maintain Investment Department Databases

 

·  Proxy Voting

 

·  Conference Call Summaries
