BearingPoint is seeking a talented finance professional with extensive Government Finance experience to focus on the following duties:
. Project Management - Government Finance & Compliance department expansion.
. Coordination and development of Forward Pricing Rate Package (FPRP)
. Coordinate GF&C requirements with Financial Planning & Analysis
Basic Qualifications:
. At least 5+ years work experience in a government contracting environment within a 500 Million + corporation.
. At least 3+ years of experience working with FAR (Federal Accounting Regulations) and CAS (Cost Accounting Standards)
. Bachelors Degree in Accounting or 8+ years relevant work experience.
. At least 4+ years working with complex databases, the extraction of data from those databases, and the subsequent compilation of schedules and contract closeouts from that info.
. At least 5+ years experience working with Microsoft Access and Excel.
. At least 4+ years experience with any of the following: performing complex reconciliations, complex accounting systems and accounting system conventions.
Preferred Skills:
. Knowledge of FAR and CAS.
. CPA and/or an advanced degree.
. Experience performing complex reconciliations, experience with complex accounting systems and accounting system conventions.
. Outstanding leadership, negotiation and communication skills in addition to project management and implementation skills.
. Ability to establish influential partnerships at assigned levels.
. Ability to adapt and support functional strategies.
