Financial Analyst-Needham, MA

Mutual Telecom Services Inc. (MTS) is a telecommunications solutions provider for primarily the U.S. Department of Defense customers. Founded in 1987, MTS engineers, furnishes, installs, tests, operates and maintains telecommunications and data systems for COs, PBXs, remotes, WANs, LANs, tactical systems, and secure systems. Title: Financial Analyst

Duties: As Financial Analyst for Cost Plus Type Contracts you will track all of the financial aspects for our Network Services cost contracts.  Duties include:

·        Proposal assistance

·        Contract funding and expenditures tracking

·        Purchase Order Review

·        Monthly/Quarterly financial performance reports

·        Expense reporting and management

·        Monthly billings

·        Annual budget coordination

·        Communication with management regarding projects

·        Forecasting financials and tracking changes

·        Prepare contract close out packages

·        Assist in DCAA and DCMA audits

·        Other special projects as needed

Experience/Qualifications: Candidate must possess the following as requirements for this position:2-5 years of finance experienceExpertise in Microsoft OfficeCost type contract experienceGovernment contractor finance experience a plusStrong analytical and problem solving skillsExcellent verbal and written skillsExperience with financial reporting, forecasting, and analysisTeam player

Education: Bachelor’s in Finance/Accounting or equivalent education required.
