Financial Analyst Decision Support ECLIPSYS

Overview : Banner Health, Arizona's largest healthcare provider has an opportunity for an expereinced Financial Decision Support Analyst to support the ECLIPSYS Decision Support Team. This position may be underfilled. This position is located at the Banner Health Corporate Center in central Phoenix, Arizona.

Responsibilities :

This position will provide an advisory capacity to all levels of staff regarding the use of the ECLIPSYS Decision Support System, lead key financial processes, initiate and assist in the identification or operating improvements and efficiencies by identifying important trends and variations through review of appropriate reports and analyses, supports/ monitors monthly maintenance activities of the Decision Support System, such as posting, costing reimbursement, year begin activities etc., provides direction and coordinates implementation and support for the ECLIPSYS Decision Support System software, supports analyses and performs reconciliation activities for data contained with the system database

Qualifications :

Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is required or equivalent experience, consisting of three years experience in healthcare financial role including demonstrated abilities in the areas budgeting, forecasting and cost accounting and an understanding of reimbursement methodologies. Working knowledge of computer spreadsheets, computer graphics and other computer applications is required. Must have some exp. with cost accounting systems, but related ECLIPSY'S Decision Support System is highly preferred.
