Position Title:  Financial Analyst

Position Summary: 

The Financial Analyst provides strategic and financial decision support to the manufacturing organization and all support functions.  Activities include, but are not limited to, analysis of P&L, product pricing / costing, and sales mix. Other responsibilities include planning and budgeting, strategic planning and business modeling, investment analysis, process improvement and standardization projects.

Position Key Responsibilities:

Business Support

·  Serves as primary business support financial resource to the manufacturing organization and support functions.

·  Participates in manufacturing operations staff and strategic planning meetings and on project teams. 

·  Provides analyses, as required, including inventory, costing, gross margin and ROI.

Reporting and Analysis

·  Provides analytical comments with P&L reports, and distributes these and supplementary reports to plant leadership personnel, finance staff and corporate executives. 

·  Analyzes effect of changes in business conditions, such as product pricing and sales mix, and communicates impact on past and future profitability. 

·  Prepares and presents forward-looking financial statements. 

·  Prepares reports and analysis for annual audit as needed.

Budgeting and Planning

·  Provides leadership for manufacturing operations personnel during annual budgeting process.  Provides historical data to plant leadership used in the budgeting process. 

·  Assists leadership in preparing and loading budgets. 

·  Compares budget results to corporate guidelines and recommends changes as appropriate. 

·  Updates budgets periodically during fiscal year based on current data.

Reporting Systems

·  Provides recommendations to improve reporting systems. 

·  Works with Finance, IT and manufacturing operations personnel to manage profit center and manufacturing cost center structures. 

·  Demonstrates super-user skill level in the use of financial and management reporting systems.

·  Demonstrates support for overall organizational goals.

·  Demonstrates willingness to complete miscellaneous tasks as assigned in order to support the overall organization. 

·  Participates in Entegris' continuous quality improvement process and dedication to customer satisfaction. 

·  Participates in developing individual skill sets to meet today and tomorrow’s business needs.

Education and Experience:

Required Education: Bachelor’s Degree in related field

Required Experience: Minimum 5 years professional experience with management reporting and financial analysis in a publicly-held manufacturing environment; minimum 1 year experience with company-wide ERP systems

Preferred Education: MBA

Preferred Experience: SAP experience
