FINANCIAL ANALYST R&D/MKTG

Job Responsibilities: The ideal candidate will provide financial support to the Medical Imaging R
& D and Marketing organizations to enhance forecasting and planning
processes and better predict spending levels and timing. The candidate will
also: Coordinate and analyze client budgets and projections, including trend
and variance analyses; Analyze trends, develop modeling and forecasting
analyses; Develop effective relationships internally and externally; Become a
partner with the client organizations, understanding their external contractual
relationships; Provide guidance as needed; Participate in Functional staff
meetings; Prepare routine and adhoc analysis for management decision making;
Participate in the monthly quarterly closing process, prepare accruals, manage
account reconciliations, and provide analysis of variances against projection
budget. Strong capabilities with desktop applications including MS Excel, MS
Word and MS PowerPoint.

Job Requirements/Education:

Bachelor degree in Accounting, CPA or MBA a plus. 3 to 5 years experience in
accounting and auditing. The ability to: Conduct thorough and careful analysis
of data, gather critical information, effectively summarize data and identify
potential solutions; Balance the need for accuracy and timeliness; Demonstrate
strong interpersonal skills with various levels of management; Develop
effective relationships internally and externally; Proactively identify key
issues impacting clients and recommend/deliver effective responses; Communicate
effectively to varied audiences; Articulate ideas in a clear manner in both
written and verbal formats; Balance multiple demands and periodically appraise
manager of the status of assigned work. Strong computer skills including use of
Microsoft Office applications, business information reporting systems, SAP
ledger, Corporate systems, TM1 and navigation of the Internet.

Salary will be commensurate with experience.
