We offer a fast-paced, friendly environment focusing on teamwork and exceptional customer service. Due to growth and expansion, we have an excellent opportunity for a Director of Finance.


The Director of Finance will supervise between 8-10 employees and will be involved with all aspects of general accounting, budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting and operational issues. It is very important that all candidates have strong technical skills and experience with process improvement. This position will be a hands on manager, so candidate must be willing to roll up their sleeves and get into the details.

This position is responsible for maintenance of the company's accounting data, which includes closing, reconciliations, and analysis and developing our relationship with banks and financial institutions. This position also maintains accounting spreadsheets that require a thorough understanding of Microsoft Excel and mail order circulation.

 

Skills/RequirementsBachelor's degree in Accounting or Business. At least 5 years accounting experience, including experience with month-end closing, financial statement preparation, and financial analysis. At least five years experience with a mail order company Must have strong knowledge of GAAP and spreadsheet knowledge and excellent PC, verbal and written communication, and problem solving skills. Must be able to effectively motivate and manage in a fast paced, multi-task environment. CPA or MBA certification a must
