Responsible for overseeing Health Care Analytics, providing guidance and strategic direction on how to best mine and utilize data that exists. Strategic thinker around the development and application of analytical healthcare data for the business. The Healthcare Analytics leader will be responsible for analyzing and understanding trends that exist within the business.
The Director will lead the group by:
Providing strategic focus and direction
Providing strong day to day project management skills
Utilize a strong understanding of the health care business to draw effective conclusions and make effective business decisions based on data.
Can interpret data, perform and understand statistical analysis
Can communicate to all audience levels (customers and AmeriChoice business leaders) the results of the data in an understandable fashion
Work across AmeriChoice markets to identify opportunities and solve problems through health care analytical projects
Identify and drive operational improvements based on the data
Develop a group of highly talented individuals who can leverage health care data.
Lead the effort to strategize how to use health care analytical information for: operational improvement, product development, value added customer reporting, health care trend forecasting and seek enhanced information on cost drivers and revenue opportunities.
Strong relational math skills
Experience with large health care databases
MBA in business or finance preferred
Strong investigative skills, with the ability to look behind the numbers
Experience in one of the following: Health economics, Epidemiology, Clinician
