Credit Analyst

The Credit Analyst position plays a key role in establishing credit limits for our customers. Job duties include, but are not limited to:
Making credit recommendations based on an analysis of financial statements, third-party credit reports, and projected volume.Staying informed on the financial condition of existing customers through the use of news wires and subscription based reporting services.Maintaining credit limits, and working with the Sales team and our customers to ensure that Bar-S credit polices are adhered to.Participating in various trade groups, which will require 6-10 days of travel per year.
Position Requirements:
Strong financial analysis skills, including the ability to discern a company’s financial strengths and weaknesses by reviewing its balance sheet and income statement.Business writing proficiency. A writing sample may be requested.Working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.The ability to communicate in an effective and professional manner.Close attention to detail.A 4 year degree in finance, accounting, or a related field is required.
