Analyst (Entry-level/Junior)

 

Job Description

•Using AOL technologies and a variety of tools and software, gathers, compiles and analyzes data relevant to the department’s field or area of specialization for later use in decision making.
•Supports standard and custom requests from departments across the organization on a regular basis.
•Performs intermediate tasks such as SQL queries, data analysis while working in multiple applications and environments.
•Identifies potential issues in inventory or campaign deliverables; recognizes inconsistencies among multiple data sources.

Creativity
•Maintains a broad knowledge of area and uses some evaluation, originality, and ingenuity in completing analysis.

Business Knowledge
•Serves as an individual contributor as well as team member.
•Duties require cultivating relationships and contacts across the organization.
•Has intermediate knowledge of database and spreadsheet applications such as Business Objects, Access and Excel. May have structured programming knowledge.
•Ensures that reporting output is complete and accurate.

Required skills:

 

Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience + 1-3 years directly related experience in Finance and/or area of analysis specialization.

Strong Access and Excel

Experience pulling data and putting together timely and adhoc reports.
