Account Executive

Position to be located in one of the following cities: Atlanta, Parsippany, Newark, or Boston.  Sales territory will be the East Coast.

 

Account Executive - East Coast

SUMMARY:

The selected candidate will be responsible for focusing on medium size accounts for new business opportunities including credit unions, medium sized banks, retailers, collection agencies and financial institutions. In this critical role, must be able to implement a sales strategy that identifies prospects and expedites them through the sales cycle.  The expected revenue projections for this position are to be in the range of $50-750,000 or less per deal for the account.  Closing deals is a must.  The expected annual goals are in the $3M to $3.5M range.  Candidates will need to develop a base of clients, as well as call on existing Experian and Scorex accounts.  New business will be generated from cold calls, internal and external trade shows and industry events and existing accounts.

 

Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in a related field.
5 years of sales experience in the information and decision-making solutions industries.
Proven ability to manage sales process for large, complex sales opportunities and effectively interact with senior level decision makers.
Strong business development, account management, and relationship building skills.
Demonstrated success in closing sales deals.
Previous success managing a large geographic territory.
Familiar with consumer credit granting, credit decisioning, and credit scoring.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Must be able to travel.
