JOB PURPOSE:
The Health & Safety Coordinator is responsible for developing, implementing, coordinating, and monitoring divisional safety and environmental programs at the Advanced Circuit Materials Division in order to prevent or minimize potential for injury and/or financial loss due to accident or non-conformance to applicable regulations. Provide support to the Advanced Circuit Materials Division for limited routine environmental tasks.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Develop and implement safety & environmental compliance improvement programs including EHS projects for the Advanced Circuit Materials Division. Limited local support for the environmental program at the Advanced Circuit Materials Division High Frequency. Complete regulatory compliance reporting and reporting tasks for the Advanced Circuit Materials Division. Monitor status of above programs and projects. Train teams at the Advanced Circuit Materials Division in non-routine Safety & Environmental requirements. Participate in the Advanced Circuit Materials Division Flex planning activities and provide recommendations on environmental and safety issues.

 

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelors Degree in Safety or Environmental Engineering, or a related field. 5-7 years Safety and Health experience in a fast paced manufacturing environment. Effective communication skills, and demonstrated ability to work with and organize teams. Must have safety program development and training experience. Able to work a flexible schedule, to support a 24-hour, 7-day per week operation. Must be a U.S. Citizen or permanent resident.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
10+ years experience in safety, industrial hygiene, and environmental engineering. Experience developing and implementing safety & environmental programs. Experience performing regulatory compliance reporting.
