AIR QUALITY TECHNICAL SPECIALIST 

 

This position can be based in either our Oakland or Sacramento locations.  The successful candidate would be responsible for leading technical aspects for ENSR’s work with petroleum refineries and related industries; provide engineering assistance, and be able to describe environmental aspects (especially air emissions) of refinery type projects.  Knowledge of estimating techniques for air emissions is also required.  Additional duties will include the ability to prioritize several assignments at one time and be committed to delivering technically sound work products on time and within budget; and expected to proactively meet with current and potential refinery clients to identify potential business opportunities by meeting directly and through organization meetings such as the Western States Petroleum Association.  The candidate is expected to prepare proposals or assist in proposal preparation for work at petroleum refineries, which will include the ability to determine and describe the necessary steps required to complete a defined scope of work and estimate the manhours required to complete such work.  B.S. or MS/MBA in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering, with 7+ years total experience.  OSHA 40-hr HAZWOPER training desirable.  Valid driver’s license is required.
