Alternative Fuel Manager - Waste to Energy

Immediate opening for an Alternative Fuel/Material Manager in Birmingham, Alabama for a permanent position.

Candidate will have experience in evaluating alternative fuel/material sources to be burned in an industrial plant application/environment., including experience with waste to energy.

Will have knowledge of environmental impacts and constraints of alternative fuel/material.

Will be able to evaluate the feasibility of various alternative fuel/material usage.

Will be able to determine the cost impact on the plant for the utilization of alternative fuel/materials.

Will be familiar with purchasing channels, process applications and quality concerns for such material.

Will be familiar with contracts and negotiating for material sourcing, including supply chain distribution.

Candidate will be involved in complete cycle of alternative fuel evaluation, including accessibility, purchasing, delivery, testing.

Must be able to travel 30% of the time. Minimum of 5-10 years of experience.

Must have excellent interpersonal communication skills.
Must be able to work well in a team-oriented environment within a decentralized management system.
