Mechanical Engineer - Mechanical/Power Plant/Fossil 80-95 K/yr

Client located in the state of Arkansas is currently looking for a Lead Mechanical Engineer for their large coal-fired power plant project. The primary responsibility of this position will be to provide technical oversight for construction related activities from mobilization thru project completion. This will range from review of adequacy of design, and compliance with technical specifications and engineering standards, to evaluation of equipment performance and satisfaction of final completion obligations. The qualified candidate will be expected to utilize his/her technical knowledge and experience to help ensure the project is built to specifications, and in accordance with the project schedule and budget. To be considered you must have construction site experience, a degree in engineering, strong organizational and analytical skills, and be willing to commit to this project for the duration of construction (4 years). The applicant should have solid mechanical engineering experience, including significant construction and coal-fired power plant experience. Relocation assistance is available for eligible candidates.
