Lead Business Systems Analyst
We are seeking a Lead Business Systems Analyst with the following experience. Please note that all qualifications must be met to be considered for this position:
BUSINESS SYSTEMS ANALYST MENTOR
* Minimum of 10 years experience in IT
* Minimum of 5 years experience in programming, testing and system design before becoming a Systems Analyst or Business Systems Analyst.
* Minimum of 5 - 7 Business Systems Analyst. Experience during this time must be on new development or major enhancement software projects, not software packages.
* UML experience. Specifically use case design and modeling use cases using activity diagrams.
* Experience with UML Modeling tools such as Rational Rose, Requisite Pro or Enterprise Architect.
* Experience in and knowledge about various requirements gathering techniques such as facilitated workshops, interviews, surveys, business process modeling, workflow and document analysis, prototyping, storyboards, etc.
* Ability to elicit, analyze, validate, define and verify requirements.
* Ability to take high-level business and user requirements and analyze them and decompose them into detailed system requirements.
* Experience working on Mainframe and relational database (DB2) projects that included batch and online functions.
* Knowledge of SEI's CMMI, Quality Assurance principles, IEEE standards and industry best practices for Requirements and Functional Design.
* Experience mentoring and training BA's and BSA's
* Excellent people and communication skills
*Strong work ethic and ability to work independently without constant supervision or direction.
