Qualifications

Takes an exhaustive approach to every task. Committed to comprehensive and in-depth analysis, planning, and implementation of every work effort.


Experience in chemical, temperature, and radiation sterilization techniques. Knowledge of proper handling of sterilized items and sterilization equipment.


Experience working around liquid and gaseous chemicals, taking the appropriate laboratory precautions.


Experience performing lab testing.


Capable of producing comprehensive documentation.


Skilled at using database, spreadsheet, and word-processing software to prepare statistical and written reports with varying degrees of complexity and detail for management.


Synthesizes all forms of research into clear, thoughtful, actionable deliverables


Extensive experience maintaining database records, including entering, updating, correcting, and purging records.


Experience performing hands-on equipment maintenance.


Experience in a Facilities Management or Environmental Health and Safety position. Strong exposure to environmental science, industrial hygiene, and health and safety issues.


Committed to exceeding quality standards and providing exceptional products and services.


Awareness of biohazard concerns and how to isolate contaminants.


Familiar with chemistry analytical methods such as hydrometry, titrimetry, and electrochemical and chemistry techniques such as pipetting and weighing.



Capable of maintaining accurate calibration of instruments used in biological and medical tasks.


Creates an integrated care environment that is efficient, safe, and cost effective.


BS in Microbiology or related science. Minimum 1 year experience required.


Competently analyzes and prioritizes information to make appropriate recommendations.


PC proficient in Macintosh or Windows environments. Working knowledge of word processing, spreadsheets, e-mail, and Web-enabled applications.
