POSITION SUMMARY:
The Area Manager of Branch Operations is fully responsible for the growth and development of all temporary branch offices, including the direct management of all Branch Managers, Outside Sales Representatives and indirect management of branch support staff. The Area Manager will also be directly responsible for the supervision, legal employment and continued ethical employment of over 1000 temporary field employees.
MINIMUM EDUCATION & WORK EXPERIENCE:
· College Degree, preferably in Business Administration with no less than 3 years experience in a senior (area or regional) management role in temporary staffing, OR, some college and 5-7+ equivalent / proven years experience in temporary staffing management;
· Temporary Staffing experience a must. No other experience or background will qualify;
· Demonstrated track record of accomplishments to include consistent historical growth in sales revenue, profits, weekly billable hours, new accounts and the retention of existing accounts. Background in new office start-up and existing office branch operational growth and development;
· Great training skills imperative! Must have strong leadership (by example) qualities. A type “A” personality will fit well within our corporate culture;
· Must be a motivational leader that can have a lot of fun, and who will bring a high level of creativity, enthusiasm and fresh ideas to the table;
· Must be willing to relocate to El Paso, Texas. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
· The Area / General Manager of Temporary Staffing Branch Operations will actively recruit, hire, train, motivate and retain quality, productive Branch Managers and oversee the employment of all branch support staff;
· Maximize sales objectives and net income growth by delivering financial objectives consistent with company business plan;
· Develop strategy, tactics and contests to achieve branch and corporate goals;
· Perform and monitor daily, weekly, monthly and annual goal setting with Branch Managers and outside sales representatives;
· Assist Corporate Executives in forecasting, planning, budgeting and measurement of revenue and branch operating expenses; Broad understanding of P&L management absolutely required;
· Visit and work with all branch offices daily. No current overnight travel;
· Must be process (system) oriented with the ability to leverage quality resources to resolve complex business and human resource issues. Knowledge of EEO, ADA, INS, FMLA, FLSA, COBRA, HIPPA, (etc) a big plus;
· Strong leadership skills with extensive knowledge of what it takes to develop and lead high performance, cross-functional teams.
