ScanTool.net, LLC is a young (est. 2002), rapidly growing high-tech company specializing in the design, manufacture, and distribution of automotive diagnostic tools (scan tools). Our mission is to create inexpensive, sophisticated, easy to use scan tools for regular people.

We are now looking for a talented, creative, self-motivated, and experienced graphics designer to help us create everything from product packaging to web images. This is a full-time, permanent position. Visit our website to learn more about who we are, and what we do: www.scantool.net.

 Work schedule/environment

 Required knowledge, skills, and abilities

There are a few things we expect you to know and be able to do:Must have strong Photoshop, Illustrator, or CorelDraw skills, with special emphasis on designing vector graphics Must be creative and self-motivated Excellent written and verbal communication skills Must stay organized, focused, and detail-oriented at all times.

Most of all, we'd like to find someone who is willing to learn, and adapt to a changing environment. You'll make us even happier if you:Have experience in print design Are familiar with Solidworks or other 3D-modeling program Have experience with Flash, HTML, and CSS

 Principal duties

Here are some of the fun things you will get to do:Taking product photos Creating images for web and print Designing product literature, including Product brochures and manuals Advertising material Catalogs Connection diagramsDesigning product packaging (boxes, inserts,etc) Design easy-to-use, intuitive product interfaces
