CALIBRATION TECHNICIAN

Micro Quality Calibration, Inc. (MQC) was founded in 1978 as a technology oriented and repair facility for Precision Measurement Equipment.  MQC established an early reputation for excellence with major defense & aerospace industry leaders.  In 1986 MQC become recognized as a major Sales and Distribution Center for Precision Measurement Equipment (PME), representing the leading manufacturers in this field.  MQC’s calibration and repair of PME necessitated acquisition of highly accurate and technologically advanced ancillary Test Equipment (including all necessary types of electronic, electrical, linear, physical dimensional, mechanical, force, torque, pressure, flow and vacuum) to enable complete in house capabilities without outside subcontracting.


All calibration is performed under the stringent of environmental controls, and in accordance with, strict compliance with ISO-9000, (series 1,2,3 & 4) ISO 100012-1, ANCI/NCSL-Z-540-1994, ISO Guide 25, and ISO/IEC 170025.

Several openings for Calibration and Repair Technicians specializing in either field:  As we grow we have immediate openings in Mechanical, Electrical, Physical Dimensional and Repair Laboratories: 

 

Mechanical Laboratory:  To calibrate and Repair Pressure, Vacuum, Torque gauges, and Liquid/gas Flow meters.

 

Electrical Laboratory: To calibrate General electronics test instruments, RF, Microwave, and Temperature.

 

Physical Dimensional Laboratory: To calibrate all type of thread and solid gauges.

 

Repair Laboratory: To calibrate and repair all type of hand tools:  dial calipers, O.D./ I.D. micrometers, and test indicators.

 

Local travel may be required to perform on-site calibration at customer’s facility, and able to lift up to

50 lbs without assistance. 2-3 years of experience required, formal PMEL or equivalent.
