Automotive Electronics Engineering Positions - SQE, HWE, EE
ResourceTek, a premier Technical and Engineering services provider, is currently recruiting for our client, an international supplier of electronics, electrical products and mechatronics to the automotive industry. We are seeking to fill multiple Engineering positions in their Huntsville, AL Facility.

Supplier Quality Engineer - Design/Development & Make Market
Responsibilities:
- Interfaces between Company and component suppliers during supplier/component qualification phase.
- Interface with the project teams for all SQM functions during the supplier/component qualification phase.
- Input to the Sourcing Committee, advanced quality planning.
- Obtaining robust and timely 8-D supplier responses for quality issues in product make market.
- On-going development and improvement of the suppliers during the design/development and make market phase.
- Final supplier/ component release.
- Maintaining the image rankings (quality measures) for the component suppliers in the Company's worldwide databases.
Objectives:
- Perform SQM Functions with component suppliers.
- Promote the usage and understanding of the Company Procedures with all product teams.
- Develop and promote the usage of the General Quality Agreement (GQA) and APQP guidelines for component suppliers.
- Continuously improve processes and procedures as they pertain to the SQM group.
- Develop expertise in Process Technology in the assigned commodities.
- Perform the duties as SQM Business Field Liaison as defined in the departmental work plan.
SQM Procedures:
- Responsible for providing training to the project teams on the function of the SQM Design and Development and Make Market group and their corresponding role in that process.
- Responsible for the timely processing of the PPAP's by the project teams.
- Responsible for development and updates on the SQM procedures.
- Participate in SQM process and procedure development, locally.
General Requirements:
Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering. 5 + years Project and systems experience in automotive applications. Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) (preferred). Shainin problem solving certificate (preferred). Green Belt or Black Belt certificate (preferred). German/Spanish Language in addition to English (preferred)
ELECTRICAL ENGINEER
Responsibilities:
Design of Analog Circuitry (low level, hall effect sensor inputs). Design of high power FET circuits driving inductive loads. Design of automotive electronics. Familiarity with PCB Layout Design which meets EMI and EMC requirements. DV and PV Test and qualification process knowledge. Preparation of DFMEA and component specifications knowledge.
Qualifications:
BSEE degree require. 6+ years high volume manufacturing support experience. Automotive experience not required but preferred.
HARDWARE ENGINEER
Qualifications:
BSEE required. MSEE a plus. 2-5 years electronics design and development experience. Schematic entry and simulation tools such as Mentor, PSpice, and/or Saber is required. Apply design/development tools is required (FMEA, 8D Methodology, etc). Automotive electronics experience a plus but not required.
Responsibilities:
Development of the electronic module concept in coordination with mechanical and layout design, manufacturing, and according to customer quality requirements and automotive specifications. Design and develop analog/digital circuits for automotive use. Define, select and test (new) electronic components and work with suppliers and internal departments from product design until release. Define, coordinate, and follow continuous improvement activities regarding supplied components, design, and manufacturing processes. Evaluate internal and external engineering change requests. Coordinate necessary actions to implement agreed changes in accordance with the QS requirements. Ensure design compliance to customer specification and support FMEA. Support local Warranty Return Center on an as needed basis.
