Job Description
Provides educational support and problem analysis/solution for company salespeople and customers. May develop and conduct training seminars based on product and industrial applications. Prepares training guides for products to be utilized by salespeople and customers. Assists salespeople with applications or sales presentations, as requested. Gathers information on competitors’ products. Coordinates with parent company in Japan to resolve technical issues for customers and salespeople.
Principle Duties and Responsibilities:Ensures 100% customer satisfaction. Answers customers’ and salespeople’s questions about products Provides customers with problem analysis and solutions Provides training to new salespeople on products, applications, and competitive information Generates feedback to salespeople regarding products and their applications Develops product-related intranet content Researches competitors’ products Assists salespeople with presentations for customers on-site, as needed Travels to branch offices and to training seminars Prepares training guides for products for use by salespeople and customers May develop and present information to customers and salespeople through seminars Understands and observes department policies and procedures
Typical Experience:
4 year degree in an engineering discipline and/or 1+ years previous experience in industrial automation or a quality control environment
