Training and Development Specialist [P10044]

Administers, organizes and conducts structured and non-structured training sessions in connection with eCommerce solutions, departmental skill development, on-the-job training, and employee orientation for DHL employees. Consults with internal clients to provide analysis and recommendations for appropriate and comprehensive instructional materials using electronic and standard training delivery. Provides support to sales representatives in regards to training issues, may attend meetings with sales representatives and customers. Acts as liaison between the training department and the field personnel. Designs, develops and manages systems and processes to support training data, metrics, and evaluation needs. Maintains records of training activities and employee progress. Tracks and analyzes course evaluations. May be responsible for designing, writing and/or modifying training curriculum, testing, and support materials for new training programs and materials to be implemented in the field.

Ability to work as part of a team. In-depth working experience with the Instructional Systems Development (ISD), Criterion Referenced Instruction or similar development methodologies. Experience in Consultative Training and/or Consultative Sales methods and processes.


Skills & Qualifications
Entry level professional contributor on a project or specialty work team. Typically requires BS/BA or related work experience in related discipline and 0-2 years of experience in related field. Professional certification may be required in some areas.
