The Training and Career Development Department is all about learning.  Our mission is to help make Jefferson County a great place to work and a great place to live. The Department offers Merit System employees access to courses and classes to positively affect their careers and to exceed expectations of citizens they serve. Classes will include training in computer software, human relations, effective customer service and management and leadership.  Qualified applicants will possess the following minimum qualifications:Experience in a position where your primary responsibilities included assessing needs for training solutions. Experience in a position where your primary responsibilities included course design and development.Experience delivering training to professionals in a business or government setting. A valid driver's license.
