Duties and Functions:

 

We seek an individual to Create, update and maintain course materials with new product functionality for each scheduled major software release.Develop new courses and modules within scoped product release dates.Perform overall administrative functions for training department from initial customer contact, bid quotations, proposals, scheduling and post-training follow-up.Deliver instructor-led technical end-user and product configuration courses to customers, partners, employees and consultants worldwide.Create and maintain project schedules for product training on new functionality, product modules as well as customized training materials for customer.Communicate regularly with customers to schedule courses, follow up after training events and provide training support.Work with development team to generate custom training materials for delivery training on customized product implementations to customer.Produce and maintain regular status reports to executive management.Provide pre-sales product demonstrations.Help customer support and testing personnel when needed and log Maintenance Requests (MRs) and Trouble Reports (TRs) using test track software.

 

Required Qualifications:

 Bachelor’s Degree in Geography, Geographic Information Systems (GIS), Instructional Design & Delivery  or related field.Must have a proven ability and willingness to rapidly learn new topics, ideas and industries.Candidate should be creative thinker and experience in Instructional Design and/or software course development .Must be able to work independently and with a team .Ability to travel worldwide up to 40%. Excellent writing skills to prepare course materials, deliverables and presentations. Proven Presentation skills for pre-sales demonstrations and software instruction for both end-user and technical configuration/customization training .Knowledge of Geographical Information Systems (GIS), ArcGIS, ArcView, ArcObjects, ArcIMS

  * Knowledge of MGE

  * Knowledge of MicroStation

  * Knowledge of SmartSketch

 

Additional Considerations:Experience with ESRI GIS software products is extremely helpful. Experience with Telecommunication industry is also extremely helpful .Programming/IT/Database experience is helpful, but not required.
