CKL SES Alabama Regional Coordinator

Cool Kids Learn, Inc. a fast-paced, progressive nonprofit organization and a leader in supplemental educational services, seeks a Regional Coordinator to manage our student recruitment operations across Alabama.

 

The Alabama Regional Coordinator is an energetic, organized, well-spoken professional who understands the urban market and can appeal to school administrators, students and parents from these communities in a compelling way that influences decisions. This is an exciting and rewarding opportunity to apply energy, enthusiasm, and empathy to a nationwide learning initiative to provide free tutoring to underserved yet deserving communities through supplemental educational services.

The Alabama Regional Coordinator plans, organizes, monitors and directs the Supplemental Education Services (SES) Program of Cool Kids Learn, Inc.  in select school districts in Alabama., in accordance with district, state and federal guidelines and requirements, and the organization’s Policies and Procedures. 

 

Responsibilities:

Plan, organize and execute a marketing and communication program  to include: community outreach, parent communication, provider fairs, informational meetings, etc.Manage distribution of marketing collateralMake weekly sales reports and meet student enrollment targets, according to budget (bonus according to performance)Perform informational sessions about our servicesLead tutor recruitment and make recommendations for hireDirect the administration of the CKL Tutoring Program (Language Arts/Reading & Math) in that regionMaintain strong  communications with the appropriate district staff Identify schools and other tutoring facilities and serve as liaison between Facilities and CKLInput data into the internal student database and monitor student attendance, billing and trackingProvide training to tutors and support the training and on-going development workshopsMonitor  compliance to the organization’s Policies & ProceduresBe responsible for student attendance and retention levels (bonus according to performance)Be responsible for monthly billing and reporting to the school districts (LEAs) within the region

 

 

Qualifications: 

 Combination of education, training and/or experience equivalent to an undergraduate degree in Education or a related areaEducational sales/marketing backgroundExperience in administrative leadership related to program planning, development, coordination, monitoring and compliance is preferredExperience with budget controlStrong leadership and motivational  skillsAbility to communicate effectively with all levels of management Experience working with students and managing teachersProfessional experience working in underserved communitiesHighly energetic personality with demonstrated success in driving decisions and striving for resultsEntrepreneurial motivation and creative problem-solving skillsExcellent interpersonal, verbal, written, presentation and organizational skills Ability to work independentlyProficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) Must be flexible in work schedules, especially pm hoursValid driver’s license & willingness to travel extesively within the state of Alabama (i.e. Mobile, Birmingham, Montgomery, etc.) and to other major cities
