Word Abroad Teach English in Japan!
Japan
The NEXT Great Adventure of Your Life!
Nova Group interviews in San Francisco every week
With over 800 branch locations and a state-of-the-art multimedia learning center, Nova Group is Japan’s largest and most innovative language school. Instructors at Nova teach a variety of classes including English Conversation, Business English, English for Kids and Standardized Test Preparation. Our goal of creating a friendly and intimate learning environment is aided by our small class size (most classes are limited to four students) and our Nova-designed textbooks and curriculum. A big draw for our students is that our lessons are conducted entirely in English. Consequently, knowledge of Japanese is not a requirement of the position.
Our more than 6800 instructors come from nearly every English-speaking country on the planet and their backgrounds are as varied as their nationalities. Our students, too, are a diverse bunch with doctors, cooks, retired people, university students, and engineers all attending classes to improve their ability to communicate in English. The result is that our instructors often learn as much from their students as they teach them.
Nova Group offers the following:
n Competitive monthly salary
n A set, full-time schedule amounting to no more than 30 hours per week of work
n Renewable, one-year contracts
n Secured housing, work visa, and health insurance prior to departure
nThree weeks of paid vacation during the first year
To be eligible for the position and the visa applicants must:
n Possess at least a bachelor’s degree
n Have attended primary and secondary schools in which the language of instruction was English. It is not sufficient to have only studied English from an early age.
n Be willing to make at least a one-year commitment
n Be open to working with students of all ages
Why not spend the next year (or more) teaching in Japan; enjoying all the sights, activities and culinary delights the country has to offer (not to mention Thailand, Cambodia, New Zealand, and China); all while gaining valuable professional and life experience? Nova Group offers you a fantastically unique experience for a year or a career.
Nova Group is interviewing in San Francisco every week. The sooner you apply the sooner you could start working in Japan, so don't delay—apply today!
