Our Gadsden, AL location is now hiring for an excellent career opportunity as a Quality Assurance Technician

Description of Duties & Responsibilities:

• Test samples from the formulation line to ensure the product meets specifications

• Inspect finished products to ensure adherence to weight and labeling specifications

• Maintain the formulation recipes in SAP and operate and maintain lab equipment

• Interact and communicate consistently with external customers and suppliers to effectively address issues as they arise

• Serve as backup for the Production Formulator

Minimum Education Required:

• HS diploma

Minimum Experience Required:

• 3-5 years experience in quality control lab performing testing procedures

• Must have basic computer skills in order to perform record keeping duties on SAP system

• Must have basic math skills to understand and follow formula directions

• Must be able to speak, read, and write English in order to understand and follow formula directions

• Ability to follow standard operating procedures of various equipment

• Ability to work semi-independently, with occasional supervisory oversight

• Experience in safe use and disposal of chemicals
