Claims Call Center Representative

Infinity Insurance, a national provider of personal automobile insurance, is seeking ambitious, enthusiastic individuals to assist callers in our Birmingham, Alabama Claims Call Center.

In this exciting postion you will assist callers with their first report of an automobile accident/claim and confirm coverage into an automated claims system. You will be accountable for obtaining accurate details of the accident to ensure timely completion of the loss adjustment process. As a Loss Reporting Representative, you would also be responsible for assisting and directing callers to the appropriate party regardless of the department involved.

REQUIREMENTS:
*Previous Customer Service Experience
*Experience in a Call Center Environment is a plus
*Good communication skills, the ability to use proper grammar and good diction in order to represent the Company in a professional manner is a must
*Basic working knowledge of computers
*Typing skills of 25 wpm with 95% accuracy required
*Ability to effectively handle communications from irate callers in a tactful, professional manner required.

*Bilingual (Spanish/English) a plus

This position will pay $11.72/hour with a salary review 6 months after hire. Candidates must be able to work 1:30pm until 10pm OR 3:30pm until 12am with alternating Saturdays.
