Planner

Job Description:

- Effectively establish and maintain production development schedules.

- Work directly with marketing to obtain required shipping due dates and create a plan that will ensure items ship on time.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

- create schedules for Engineering, Design, and Packaging and set critical dates and communicate this information with our Hong Kong team.

- Suggest alternatives if changes need to be made in order to meet required milestones to ensure projects ship on time.

- Maintain all schedules and adjust when required.

- Communicate with Hong Kong via weekly status reports updates for all new products and revision that may be required.

- Daily troubleshooting with Malibu team and our Hong Team to resolve any scheduling issues that may arise.

- Prepare tooling analysis for all new tooled items to ensure timely and efficient decisions are made.

- Maintain UPC/item number data base and distribute to marketing as directed.

 

Project Planning Department Roles:

- Manage 3-4 product lines.

- Assist in a supportive role to the V.P. of Worldwide Planning

Education/Experience:

- Associated Degree in Business

- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel is required

- Previous work experience in production planning a plus.

- JDE experience a plus.
