Global Technical Project Manager (Toiletries/ Cosmetics/ Wet Wipes/ Household)

Fantastic opportunity to join a Global manufacturer and distributor of toiletries, cosmetics, coffee filters, baby wet wipes facial wipes and a variety of other related products, this position is based in Arkansas USA. Due to continued success they are looking to recruit a Global Technical Project Manager with a several year’s relevant experience and the ability to demonstrate successful development of wet wipe/toiletries products, across a wide range of product categories, with a thorough working knowledge of regulations in other key markets (North & South America). 

 

The successful candidate will be required to work in close association with colleagues worldwide to ensure that NPD toiletries/wet wipe products meet the regulatory requirements for key global markets; you must have ‘hands on’ formulation experience & to be able to guide and facilitate the development of new toiletry/ wet wipe products on  a global basis. The successful candidate must have effective communication skills at all levels, both internally and externally.

 

The individual in this position is expected to use proven project management, substrate materials, and formulation and packaging skills along with previous work experiences to support product development for specific global customers.  A high level of initiative and independent work style are expected in order to meet the aggressive timelines demanded by specific customers. 

 

Work closely and frequently with vendors to optimize, cost reduce and specify raw materials (substrate, formulation, and packaging). Additionally have experience working alongside regulatory bodies and have key industry contacts. Work closely with the Quality Assurance to resolve complaints and customer inquiries in a timely manner. Proven project management skills, global project management is a strong plus, but not required.

 

The successful candidate must be someone who is flexible & motivated, educated to a Degree level in a relevant science or equivalent, be proactive in formulation expectations of customers, provide advice and support to formulation issues and development.  Assure that all products comply with all regulatory and safety directives in North & South America. Experience in managing personal care, household products, wet wipes; or consumer products are a strong plus.

International travel is required and may involve weekend travel, a valid passport and drivers license are necessary for this role.
