Director of Strategic Planning

Our client is an innovative, entrepreneurial company. They have an immediate need for a Director of Strategic Planning. The Director will be responsible for improving the profitability and effectiveness of the client’s products and programs by overseeing and developing the sales team. 

 

Responsibilities
Selection, management, training, development and effective assimilation of sales team members into the organization
Analysis and review of performance statistic of group and subsequent mentoring, motivating and managing team based on performance data
Conduct regular individual and team meetings
Liaison to President and other departments regarding performance and activities
Participates in strategic planning, communication and presentation skills
Team player/individual contributor with a desire to function in a flexible, changing environment
Ensures compliance with local, state and federal laws and regulations
Substantially increase sales performance and profitability

 

 

Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance or Accounting
5-7 years sales management experience with a distributed sales force
Holds required state licenses or is able to obtain required licenses
Experience with an in-bound call center or telephone sales
Prior experience in debt management, finance, collections or related field
Outstanding analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills
Demonstrated ability to drive results
Insightful customer focus and fully developed project management skills
Excellent interpersonal skills
