Administrative Assistant

DIC Entertainment is a global brand management company based in Burbank, CA, specializing in children's/family animated television entertainment and related consumer goods.

DIC's Global Sales department oversees the core revenue generating businesses of the company and includes domestic and international television sales, licensed consumer products and merchandising, home entertainment and marketing. Reporting to the Head of Global Sales, you will also support the VP of Brand Management and the VP of Marketing. You'll have exposure at a very senior level to all sales-related activities of the business.

The primary responsibilities of this position are:
- Coordinate logistics and planning of meetings and conference calls, including arranging locations, travel plans, required set-ups and presentation materials
- Assist with preparing sales sheets with creative content for our sales staff
- Assist with creating and/or updating all press materials and preparing press kits
- Assist with drafting client proposals and presentations
- Assist with maintaining distribution and client databases
- Compile/take notes at departmental meetings
- Arrange travel schedules and logistics
- Prepare and reconcile expense reports
- Assist with managing departmental budget
- Perform basic administrative duties (phones, deliveries, calendars, travel arrangements, etc.)
- Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:
Minimum requirements are:

- At least 2 years' experience in administrative functions, preferably to senior staff
- Strong organization skills
- Ability to establish appropriate priorities among assignments from 3 immediate supervisors and to work with minimal supervision
- Detail-oriented and highly accurate in work product
- Ability to work in a fast-paced organization while maintaining quality of work and meeting deadlines
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills to successfully interact with all levels of staff, licensees, partners, vendors and others
- Good problem-solving skills
- PC Windows literate and competent in MS Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
