DESCRIPTION:

Support our customers and JDA associates in the successful implementation of JDA’s Intactix (Space Management) Product Suite.Maintain direct communication between the customer, project team and other JDA associates.



RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Conducts functional and technical analysis sessions with clients and/or the project team to understand the functional and technical

needs of the client and develops solutions to meet those needs.

· Provides change management leadership to assist the customer with implementing new or changed business processes in their

organization

· Provides other functional consulting to the customer which includes: business process maps; functional specifications for modifications;

develops test plans and scripts, and supports customer testing efforts, develops training materials; trains end users, and provides functional

support to customer during implementation and rollout phases.

· Provides a variety of technical support to the project team; including quality assurance/design review, environment setup, operations consulting,

troubleshooting, system testing, programming, etc.

· Analyzes and optimizes components to take advantage of project specific databases and system configurations. 

· Provides technical expertise on development projects as necessary.

· Works with all levels of JDA associates and staff support functions in developing specifications, analyzing user needs, testing and developing

solutions as necessary.

 

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS REQUIRED:

· 3+ years experience in the retail industry with an emphasis in providing information systems, merchandise control or retail consulting from

a technical and functional perspective.

· 3+ years experience working with or implementing retail and space planning/category management systems.

· IT/technical experience in requirements definition, systems design and systems implementation.

· Experience with MS VB, MS C/C++, and Java technologies.

· Experience with MS SQL Server and ORACLE  database administration.

· Experience with SQL and PL/SQL coding techniques.

· Working knowledge of UNIX.  IBM-AIX, HP-UX and Sun-Solaris a plus.

· Experience working with JDA’s Intactix Product Suite preferred.

· Ability to make sound decisions with a high degree of problem solving capability.

· Proven troubleshooting skills and good client relationship skills.

· Excellent presentation skills and experience, particularly with senior levels of management.

· Capable of facilitating the following; design sessions, conflict resolutions, brainstorming, etc.

· Strong interpersonal skills to include the ability to mentor, coach, and train.

· Good communication and analytical skills.

· Extensive travel required (approximately 50-75%).
