SAP Project Manager - AFS

Metamor is the only official SAP channel partner and re-seller for the Apparel and Footwear Solution in the growing small- and medium- sized (SMB) space. We have developed the Quickwear AFS pre-configured solution and are committed in providing growing SMB Apparel and Footwear companies with an IT business solution that will cover the entire range of their technology needs.

In support of its continued profitable growth, Metamor Enterprise Solutions need to expand its SAP team and are currently looking for a senior level SAP Project Manager with solid background in SAP project leadership. You will manage and lead the set up and implementation of our Apparel and Footwear industry solution projects.

Requirements:

 

- Must be available to start October 9, 2006.

- May be based anywhere in the US as long as you are willing and able to travel to our SAP AFS implementation locations.

- Must have 8 years of project management experience and at least 5 years of that being in SAP implementation management.

- Ability to manage and drive a project within budget, milestones and deliverables.

- Ability to work with a diverse set of individuals. Will manage and lead multi-disciplined SAP AFS functional team members, technical and business resources in a very high energy and fast-paced environment.

- Must have experience in understanding high-level business requirements, leading feasibility scoping estimate efforts, providing input and direction for detailed project plans.

- Will need to have outstanding leadership ability and excellent human relations and business skills to communicate and negotiate effectively with internal and external clients.

- Ability to reconcile the often conflicting needs of the user community, the technical team, the design group, and the steering committee.

- Ability to sell the overarching goals to obtain the continuing support of the user management and to transfer knowledge about R/3 implementations.

- Ability to advise customer*s Management on project status:
- Direction and goals
- Team organization and training
- R/3 configuration and integration

- Must have excellent problem-solving skills with exceptional listening, understanding and team building skills.

- Prior experience with configuration or management of the SAP Apparel and Footwear industry solution would be beneficial.

- Must be willing to travel.
