Senior Building Estimator, Building Estimator, Residential Estimator - Grand Cayman

The in-house Contracting division of an Established Property Developer in Grand Cayman currently seeks the above staff for proposed projects.

Reporting directly to the Core Services Manager / Department Manager (as appropriate), these positions will be responsible for establishing the core of an estimating department capable of producing accurate, competitive pricing.

The candidate(s) must possess a degree or professional qualification and respectively an appropriate level of building, engineering and commercial knowledge, to support estimating skills. Experience of estimating large building schemes in locations with logistical and resource challenges are required. The ability to plan and execute work effectively, communicate with project participants, experience of working for an established Contractor or Development Company and knowledge of the Miami-Dade building code and the application of building components for a ‘hurricane hardened’ building shells are essential. Core attributes include computing competency, specifically BIM and databases, and professional integrity.

The position is offered on a single or married status basis and attracts an ‘All In’ salary that is paid free of tax, together with Contributory Pension and Medical Insurance.
