Cost Engineer - Grand Cayman

Due to expansion, my client, an established Property Developer in Grand Cayman, currently seeks a Cost Engineer for project controls on large commercial construction projects.



Reporting to the Project Controls Department Manager, this position will be responsible for performing cost allocations, change order analysis, contractor cash flow analysis, alignment activities between estimating and procurement, and working with the project management team to provide cost to complete forecasts.



The candidate must possess a degree or professional qualification and a high level of building, engineering and commercial knowledge relevant to cost control functions of large building schemes in locations with logistical and resource challenges. The ability to plan, communicate and execute work effectively, previous experience working for an established Contractor / Construction Manager / Development Company is essential. Core attributes include a high level of computer competency and professional integrity.



The position is offered on a single or married status basis and attracts an ‘All In’ salary that is paid free of tax, together with Contributory Pension and Medical Insurance.
