Test Engineer

Design, develop, and execute product level test strategies and test plans, based on Functional Specifications and Product Requirements Documents and understanding of our major customers deployment needs.
- Work effectively with cross functional product teams to maximize system quality and product delivery.
- Provide test engineering support to development teams for next generation products, and provide input to design and testability reviews. Support the development team in debugging issues, isolate root cause of issues, and partner with development team on resolution.
- Review documentation and provide input to deployment guides, user manuals, etc.
- Execute test cases per test plan, collecting data on faults and reporting to the appropriate development team. Regularly assess progress and prepare test status report for management.- Qualification / Education:

- BSCS/EE or equivalent and 4+ years developing and executing test cases or troubleshooting customer problems in a networking environment.
- Experience with some of the following areas is desired: Vlan, Spanning Tree, RIP, OSPF, BGP, L4-L7 server load balancing,
- TCP/IP and common networking performance or monitoring tool knowledge required. 
- Strong project management, communication, self-motivation, punctual and teamwork skills are essential.
- Familiarity with Servers (Sun/Linux/MS), traffic sniffers, and traffic generation tools is a plus.
