HDM is an entrepreneurial division of The First American Corporation. We specialize in geoanalytics for natural disasters and are seeking a skilled and creative Senior UI Engineer to join our newly forming development team in Cambridge, MA.

The Senior UI Engineer will define and develop the web-based UI components,coordinating with server-side software developers and graphic/UI designers to define and translate into working interfaces.

Candidates must also have the following qualifications:Demonstrated skills to develop highly maintainable, modularized web-based UI components. 5+ years experience developing web applications. Strong programming skills with focus on Java, JSP, XSLT, Junit. Browser Development using AJAX, JavaScript, XHTML, XSL, CSS and XML Experience with Relational Databases, especially Oracle desired Experience with IE 6/7 and Firefox platforms. Ability to take business requirements and define product requirements, functional and design specifications. Experience with UI design methodologies and tools. Ability to work with minimal supervision as part of a dynamic, distributed team. BS or MS in Computer Science or related fields, or equivalent.
