In response to our continued growth, we have several Software Engineering openings in a new product development initiative.  We seek two J2EE developers who love to code, have high quality standards and are looking for technical and project growth opportunities. 

 

Responsible for:Building a state of the art web based application UI Develop new applications, extensions and toolsScale application UI performance to thousands of users Research, build and integrate new UI technologies into the application suite.

 

Job Details Work with Product Marketing and Human Factors Information Architect to create state of the art java web applications. Know and love the latest web standards – e.g. XHTML, 508Commercial Software Development ExperienceObject Oriented Analysis and Design experience. Love to code! Demonstrate extraordinary skills and productivity in the art of design / development / deployExcellent communication and writing skills with product stakeholders, and web designers. Mentor and collaborate with other engineersExpert level understanding of emerging and existing web technologies, protocols - must love the bleeding edgeDemonstrated applied knowledge of emerging technologies Know the risks and limitations of presentation layer technologies, techniques and  browsers. Desire to be a senior member of a critical development team. Intimately familiar with cross-browser compatible HTML/DHTML/Java Script/CSS coding. Be aware of techniques used in AJAX/Web Services/Rich Client development and how to use these technologies appropriately and judiciously.

 

 

Job ExperienceMust have 5+ years developing web applications. Java expert 5+ years of experience 3+ years of web UI and Java Script developmentDevelopment Experience Building applications with web services. Web UI Frameworks such as Struts, Seam or Spring, Successful web applications (Have examples of web applications/sites on which you were a primary developer. )3+ years of  both Windows and Unix  in development and production environments. Have a BSCS or equivalent experience.

 

Related Technologies:  (the more the better, but some in each category) JavaScript: Mochikit, Ajax, Dojo, cross-browser compatibility.
