Department is responsible for the development of advanced silicon and compound semiconductor devices for mixed signal & RF applications.

Scope of Responsibilities/Expectations

Individual will be responsible for device design, integration and characterization for advanced CMOS/BiCMOS silicon technologies targeted for emerging RF applications. Individual will work closely with an experienced team in a stimulating research & development environment, as well as with circuit design, product and manufacturing partners. Strong interpersonal skills and commitment to teamwork, as well as excellent written & verbal communication skills are essential. The successful candidate will be highly motivated with a proven record of creative thinking and problem-solving.



Specific Knowledge/Skills

Individual must be highly knowledgeable & experienced in advanced MOSFET device design and CMOS (or BiCMOS) technology integration. Knowledge of advanced bipolar device design and integration would also be highly desirable, but is not essential. Individual must be proficient with standard device characterization methods, as well as with Design of Experiment & statistical data analysis techniques/tools. Individual must possess a good understanding of standard methods for evaluation of intrinsic device reliability, as well as how to apply standard physical analysis techniques. Proficiency with device/process test structure design, test vehicle generation, design rule/pcell definition and Cadence design tools would be highly desirable. Proficiency with RF device characterization methods and process/device simulation tools/methods would also be highly desirable.
