Systems Analyst

The successful candidate must possess:
• Associates degree from 2 year college or technical school and practical experience in Inventory Management; or equivalent education and experience.
• Thorough understanding of all WMS (Warehouse Management System) functions and procedures to support best business practices
• Highly organized and multi task oriented, Excellent communication skills, PC and internal computer system savvy

Job Requirements (In part):
• Controls physical Inventory and system movements with the DC that affect the DC inventory, with an understanding of WMS functions and how they relate to operational procedures including Receiving, Order Processing, Picking, Packing, Shipping and Cycle counting.
• Analyses reports and system data to make decisions and implement corrective actions thru a staff to include forklift operators, material handlers and cycle count clerks.
• Ability to quickly diagnose and troubleshoot any problems within the WMX system.
• Ensures monitoring, tracking and corrective action for shipping errors.
• Ensures proper invoicing of customer shipments.
• Cycle Counts – conducts count, analyzes reports, implements corrective action and reports to management and team.
• Maintain inventory level accuracy to 99.7%  - using various daily reports and implementing all corrective action entries (damaged product, reconciling variances, etc).
• Warehouse & Item Set up – by maintaining accurate size and location of bins for product and managing replenishment, computer setup, and movement of items accurately and in an organized manner.
• Order Processing management – by analyzing issues with closing an order, program errors, piece carton or pallet variances, label accuracy etc. and takes any corrective action needed.

 

 

Must have a thorough understanding of Warehouse Management Systems functions and procedures to support best business practices. This is a system controlling physical inventory and movements with the data center.
