Company: Los Angeles Regional Foodbank is a nonprofit organization that distributes food to over 1,000 charities throughout Los Angeles County. The Foodbank is one of the largest in the country with an annual budget of $7 million, a 96,000 square foot facility, and a staff of 70 employees and 40 volunteers. The Foodbank is located in South LA, 10 minutes east of the Coliseum.
Qualifications: Must have a fundamental understanding and hands-on experience of PC hardware, Windows 2000/XP/2003, Office XP and local area networks. Ideal candidate will have troubleshooting experience, excellent documentation skills, great customer service and communication skills, strong interpersonal skills, superb organizational skills and have an eye for details. Candidate will be a self-starter who is able to work with minimum supervision.
Job Description: Assists the Information Technology Department with the daily operations of the Foodbank. Ideal candidate will report to and receive supervision from the Information Technology Director. Installs and upgrades hardware and software. Will troubleshoot, document procedures, and researches technical solutions. Candidate will support IT Director on ad hoc projects as well as support office and warehouse staff in two buildings and assist in daily operations of the Foodbank. Candidate will install and upgrade hardware and software. EOE.
