Manager, Implementation
Summary:
Mobile Productivity Inc., (MPI) is a new high tech company that assists technical service professionals to be more proficient by providing them a new work paradigm. MPI converts information into knowledge and delivers that knowledge on a mobile, browser-based platform using a patent pending process.
The Director of Implementation is responsible for the management of the implementation processes for the successful delivery of new and existing products. The Director of Implementation will provide strong leadership, training, mentoring, and management of Network Installation Engineers and Project Managers; who complete hardware installations and coordinate the delivery of multiple contracts.
Primary responsibilities:
· Supervise the management of installation projects from conception to implementation, ensuring that project management methodology is followed throughout the project lifecycle
· Oversee the implementation of all project activity, ensuring critical tasks are identified and target dates are achieved
· Ensure quality standards are met for the coordination and installation of projects.
· Active participation in project implementations
· Create, communicate, update, and execute processes to ensure successful project management practices
· Plan, coordinate, direct, and communicate across project teams, internal organizations, and customers
· Identify, define, track and report on services provided, issues reported, and potential product scope changes
· Identify methods to continually improve overall processes
· Provide leadership, mentoring, and process direction to direct reports
· Perform standard management tasks, including performance reviews, work assignments, hiring, firing and counseling
Successful candidate will have:
· Strong leadership, organizational, communication, and motivational skills
· Superior interpersonal skills, ability to work well with others
· Deadline and detail-oriented, with the ability to multi-task and juggle multiple clients and projects simultaneously
· Experience in development and delivery of software implementation processes
· Analytical problem solving skills
· 6 years or more experience with implementation of projects
· 4 years or more experience in software applications
· Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
· Project management experience in the automotive industry a plus
· Personnel management experience
· Understanding of networking, WAPs and database principles
· Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including MS Project (or other project tracking software), Outlook, and the Internet
